Shannon Marie Witt Nelson

Shannon Marie Witt Nelson, a resident of Duncan, Oklahoma, and native of Baton Rouge, La. Shannon M. Nelson died January 30, 2021 at Duncan Regional Hospital in Duncan, Oklahoma. Shannon was 45, and a member of the Army National Guard from June 19, 1993 until September 10, 1994. She enlisted in active duty in August 12, 1993 and was discharged in November 24, 1993.

Memorial services will be held on April 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church with Brother Clint Russell. Shannon was cremated February 4, 2021 at Advanced Cremation Care  Center in Oklahoma City.

She is survived by her children; Monica Baker, Dylan Cargile, Blake & Bailey Nelson, her mother; Debra Ann Witt, her dad; Richard Thomas Bowman, her marternal grandmother; Mary Emma Hafford Witt, her paternal grandmother; Alice Bowman, Siblings Maternal; Sander Gabriel, Danrisa Gabriel, Tabatha Hughey, Twyla Selander, Shannon's half sibllings; paternal; Stephanie Bowman, Christy Naquin, Angela Bowman. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Pliva and Noah Baker, Laylah, Hadleigh, Blaklynn, and Dawson Nelson.
