Obituary

Rosetta Houston, 83, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Duncan Regional Hospital.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, 19, 2022 at the Duncan Cemetery with Rev. John Croy officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Rosetta was born April 18, 1939 in McKinney, Texas to Earl Samuel & Mary Jane (Richardson) Davis. She worked as a Medication Aide at Chisholm Trail Assisted Living and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, and grandmother, to Micky Don, Charles David and Donita Sue.

Survivors include a son; Micky Don Houston and his wife Lynn of Frisco, Texas and a daughter; Donita Sue Healer and her husband Neil of Duncan, Oklahoma and a sister; Ruth Cary of Duncan, Oklahoma and 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son; Charles David Houston in 2004 and 2 sisters; Helen Hickman and Melody Wetchel and 2 brothers; Earl D. Davis and Donald Davis.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
