Vivian Price, 95, of Duncan, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at her home with her family by her side.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel with Ron Roskum officiating, interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.
Family visitation will be Friday evening at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home from 6:00-7:00 p.m.
Lucienne or Vivian or Lulu as she was known was born February 7, 1927 in Lyon, France to Antoine A. and Francine Benoite (Teysset) Pomerol, Vivian was a war bride, she met and married Robert (Bob) Price in France during W.W. ll and relocated to the United States, she arrived by boat in America on July 4, 1946 at the age of 19, Bob preceded her in death in 1986, she never remaried and devoted her life to her family and many friends. Vivian worked at Dillards f Flower shop for numerous years until her retirment.
Vivian is survived by her son; Tony Allen Price and his wife Cindy of Duncan, Oklahoma and a daughter; Marcelle Rebecca Hood and her husband Larry of Duncan, Oklahoma, a sister-in-law; Virginia Collingsworth and sister-in-law Kay Price of Duncan, Oklahoma, numerous nieces and nephews and 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and loved by all and never met a stranger.
She had a generous, Loving sprit and will be greatly missed.
Pallbearers will be Zachary Brown, Anthony Price, Chad Essick, Chase Barnes and Larry Hood.
