Joshua Warner Hesbrook gained his wings on Sunday, June 25, 2023.
He was born September 18, 1981in Duncan to Warner Ray Hesbrook Jr. and Lillian (Maree) Hesbrook. He was the oldest of 3 kids. Josh was very close to his brother, Matt and sister, Jada. A lot of mornings he would show up at Jada’s house to have coffee and donuts with her.
After graduating from Duncan High School in 2000 he had several jobs, one being a sacker at Goodners’s grocery. He loved talking and getting to know the people. He learned to work on cars from his Dad and loved working at Auto Zone for a short time. He went on to go to work at construction services where he worked with his Dad and brother Matt, from there he got on at Halliburton’s and got to travel and quickly he climbed the ladder and became a supervisor. He was given the nickname Blade. Coming home from a long shift is when he had his accident in October 2, 2008, but he never let the chair stop him. He kept a positive attitude. Josh had strong faith and knew his Lord very well. He could quote scriptures to anyone and talk for hours about God. He had a heart of gold and was always there for anyone.
He loved spending time with family, he loved the family cookouts and especially the food! Josh loved playing with his nephews and nieces. He loved hanging out with them, he always called them his “favorite little monsters”, Josh was always on TikTok and loved making and sending TikToc videos. Music was his passion and he would play the music loud, always dancing in his chair, acting goofy and making people laugh.
He will always be remembered for the goofball he was and there will never be another Josh. Words cannot begin to express the void he leaves behind.
