Jerry Wayne Wright 84 of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, October 2, 2020 at Country Club Care Nursing Center.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Bethel Assembly of God Church with Rev. Ron Meador officiating, interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Jerry was born Monday, July 27, 1936 in Stephens County to Wesley Simpson & Dorothy (Farmer) Wright, Jerry was the 4th. youngest of 12 brothers and sisters, he was a life time resident of Duncan and Stephens County, he worked as a machinist for Halliburton's until his retirement, Jerry married Virginia Brown, November 1,1957 in Bray, Oklahoma, and to this union were born two sons, Larry and Jeff, Virginia preceded Jerry in death on December 8, 2015.    

Survivors include his two sons; Jeff Wright of Duncan, Oklahoma and Larry Wright & his wife Kay of Duncan, Oklahoma, a brother; Floyd Wright of Duncan, Oklahoma, and two sisters; Goldie Tomlinson of Duncan, Oklahoma and Nita Fields of Houston, Texas, 6 grandchildren; Chad, Cortney, Cayla, Kaitlyn, Dylan and Braden, great-grandchildren; Carson, Cameron, Charlee, Ainsley, Kason, Cohen, Blair and Tylyn, sister-in-law; Kate Wright, and numerous nieces and nephews

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; Wesley & Dorothy, brothers & sisters; Vinese, Elizabeth, Bernice, Chester, Quinton, Donald, Richard and Earl.

Pallbearers will be Steve Wright, Randy Chatham, Lyndol Wright, Danny Wright and Donnie Meismer. Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Wright, Carlos Roberson, Jim Chatham, Shane Wright and Terry Bullard.
