Jerri Jeanette (J.J.) Shipman

     Jerri Jeanette (J.J.) Shipman 47, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at her home with her family by her side.

     Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2018 at New Hope Baptist Church, with Rev. Bubba Clark officiating, interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

     Jerri was born August 31, 1970 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Jerry Wayne Ray & Glenda Gale (Owens), she was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister, her hobbies included riding horses, and going to Rodeos, her favorite horse was named Macey, Jerri married Ronnie Shipman May 21, 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

     J.J.  is survived by her husband; Ronnie of the home, sons; Ryley Cache Shipman of the home and Paedon Ray Shipman of the home, mother; Glenda McBride and husband Gerald of Duncan, Oklahoma, father; Jerry Ray and his wife Martha of Marlow, Oklahoma, sister; Janey Gordon and her husband Chad of Fletcher, Oklahoma, also surviving are step-sisters; Kim Mefford of Marlow, Oklahoma and Gina Bandy of Duncan, Oklahoma, step-brother; Robert Blackburn of Marlow, Oklahoma, grandfather; Glen Owens of Duncan, Oklahoma,  aunts; Rhonda Williams and her husband Bobby, Tereasa Vachon and her husband Tom all of Duncan, Oklahoma, Judy Walker, Carla Hall and husband Greg, Glenda Mattey and her husband Mike, Debbie Travis and her husband Tim, Ricky Gibbs and his wife Cathey, brother-in-law; Clint Chapman and his wife Kara all of Duncan, Oklahoma, cousins;  Amy Dyer of Duncan, Rocky Dyer of Lone Grove, Rikki Jade Stewart of Edmond, Oklahoma and Amanda Corey of Portland, Oregon, and numerous nieces and nephews.

     J.J. was preceded in death by her grandmothers; Harliene Owens and Virgie Chambers and a special cousin Zachary Stewart.

     Pallbearers will be Rocky Dyer, Mason McGuire, Ethan George, Rowdy Vinson, Ryan Elliott and Chad Gordon. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryley Cache Shipman and Paedon Shipman
