Jerrell E. Woolwine

Jerrell E. Woolwine 77, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church, with Lance Smith officiating interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Family visitation will be Friday, August 7, 2020 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Jerrell was born July 17, 1943 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Ernest & Lucille (Anderson) Woolwine, he lived west of Duncan and was a lifelong resident of the Duncan area, he graduated from Empire High School in 1961 and was a life long farmer and rancher, he enjoyed Team Roping and teaching kids to rope, he leased team roping steers to various Rodeos, he was a member of Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church, Jerrel married Jessica Faye Bardsher on November 22, 1963 and to this union were born two sons; Stanley Jerrell and Scotty Lynn.

He is survived by his sons; Stanley Jerrell Austin of Ringling, Oklahoma and Scotty Lynn Woolwine of Duncan, Oklahoma, a brother; Gary Woolwine of Duncan, Oklahoma and two sisters; Barbara Salmon of Wichita Falls, Texas and Eva Jane Bridgers of Duncan, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Rayne Austin, Barrett Austin, Rumer Austin and Rosston Austin.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Lucille Anderson Woolwine.

Pallbearers will be Micheal Trusty, Clay Rennaker, Josh Long, Dwight Frick, Devin Amos, Bubba Brown, Casey Brown and Kevin McFarland.
