Gerald Lynn McBride 68, of Duncan, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at his home.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church at 278935 E. 1780 Rd. Comanche, Oklahoma with Rev. Bubba Clark officiating, interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Family visitation will be Friday from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home

Gerald was born on Tuesday, July 1, 1952 in McKinney, Texas to J.D. and Vivian (Cook) McBride, he worked for Hydra Rig Oil and the Duncan Public Schools, Gerald married Glenda Owens September 4, 1992 in Duncan.

Gerald is survived by his wife: Glenda of the home, a son: Jeremy McBride & his wife Joyce of Chicago, Illinois, and a daughter; Janey Gordon & her husband Chad of Fletcher, Oklahoma, two brothers; Ricky McBride of McKinney, Texas and Larry McBride of McKinney, Texas and a sister; Charlotte Striplin of McKinney, Texas, 4 grandchildren; Jeremy McBride Jr., Mason McGuire,  Reese McGuire, Tyler Gordon & his wife Stacia.

Gerald was preceded in death by a daughter; J.J. a brother; Billy and his parents J.D. & Vivian McBride.

Pallbearers will be Mason McGuire, Zane Hawk, Jarrod England, Ryan Elliott, Chad Gordon, Dayton Auld, Chance Smith and Jeremy McBride ll.

It has been request that any attending visitation or services to were a mask.
