Edna Faye Keele

Edna Faye Keele 89, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away July 6, 2021 at Duncan Regional Hospital with family by her side.

Funeral services will be 1:00p.m. Monday, July 12, 2021 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Southerland officiating and interment will follow at the Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche, Oklahoma. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Family visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Carter-Smart Funeral home.

Edna was born on Sunday, October 31, 1931 in Empire, Oklahoma to Elbert & Ara (Barton) Fletcher, she was an administrative assistant for Delta Senior Nutrition Center for 35 years. She married Bill Keele June 21, 1986 and he preceded her in death, she was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Edna is survived by her sons; Jackie Smith and his wife Mary of Edmond, Oklahoma, David Smith and Faith Owens, daughters; Debbie Covington and her husband Buddy of Marlow, Oklahoma, and Tara Bumpas and her husband Greg of Duncan, Oklahoma, a sister; Jessie Mae Oxford of Velma, Oklahoma. Grandchildren: Shane & Therese Pennington, Kara & Ryan Lamberson, Jeremiah Smith, Jessica & Rick Baker, Shandi Thompson, Cody & Cristan Bumpas, Erin & Marcus Favorite and Matthew & Jessica Smith and 14 greatgrandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Elbert & Ara (Barton) Fletcher, her husband; Bill Keele,  a great-grandson; Brady Lamberson.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Smith, Kyle Roller, Shane Pennington, Ryan Lamberson, Cody Bumpas and Rick Baker
