David A. Fullerton 84, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Duncan Regional Hospital with his family by his side.
Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2022 at the Duncan Cemetery with Rev. Jim Wilson officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.
Family visitation will be Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home.
David was born February 27, 1938 in Marlow, Oklahoma to James Edmond "Buck" & Mary (Walker) Fullerton. David grew up in the Marlow-Bailey area, he graduated from Duncan High School in the class of 1957, he joined the Army National Guard in 1955 and went into the service of the U.S. Air Force November 12, 1957 for 4 years and got extended 1 year for war like activity. David married Elaine "Petty" on August 24, 1957, they moved to Duncan after his discharge in the U.S. Air Force, he started a plumbing and heating and air conditioning company, Fullerton's Plumbing for 31 years.
David is survived by his wife; Elaine of the home, sons; David Lynn Fullerton and his wife Rhonda of Empire, Oklahoma, Michael Fullerton and his wife Lisa of New Castle, Oklahoma, he has 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Irene Jurek and infant sister; Mary Elaine, and brothers; Joe "Buck" Robert, Jed, Charlie and Jimmy Ray.
Pallbearers will be James Fullerton, Trevor Fullerton, Tyler Fullerton, Christopher Fullerton, David Austin Fullerton and Michael McConnell.
