Xander Skye James

Xander Skye James 15, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2019 in Duncan.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2019 at the Chapel of First Baptist Church, with Dr. Bryan Pain, Rev. Steve Morcom uncle of Xander and Rev. Josh Holler officiating, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4:00-5:30 p.m. at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

Xander was born February 14, 2004 in Galveston, Texas, Xander had been a resident of Duncan for a short time of three and a half months, moving here from Brenham, Texas, he was a sophmore at Duncan High School and and a member of the First Baptist Church where he was member of the First Baptist Youth Group, Xander loved going to the Duncan Library, he loved music and video games and his new dog Mia, he had a special love for his brothers and sisters and enjoyed playing with them.

Xander is survived by his mother; Jessica Cole, maternal grandmother; Brenda Morcom of Duncan, Oklahoma, and maternal grandfather; Joe James of Freeport, Texas and brothers; Wess Cole and Bricen Willingham and sisters; Aliyah Cole, Nevaeh Rollins and Summer Willingham, Xander is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund.
