William (Buck) Schornick

William (Buck) Schornick 64, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, September 18, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Ray of Hope Church, with Pastor Mike McCord officiating, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Buck was born September 20, 1952 to Clarence & Pauline (Dills) Schornick, he worked for the U. S. Postal services until his retirement after 35 years, he was a member of the Ray of Hope Church. Buck married Joyce Cross June 20, 1995 in Clearwater, Florida.

Survivors include his wife; Joyce of the home, sons; Toffer Schornick & his wife Disa of Olethe, Kansas, Brad Schornick & his wife Monica of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Sam Schornick of Duncan, Oklahoma, and a daughter; Traci Thompson & her husband Bill of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, a brother; Yogi Schornick & his wife Amy of Collyville, Texas, sisters; Sandra Reeder of Duncan, Oklahoma and  11 grandchildren.

Buck was preceded in death by his parents; Clarence & Pauline Schornick, brothers; Jack Schornick and Joe Schornick, sisters; Peggy Rowe, Sharon Hutto and Bobby Costello and a grandson; Aden Powell.
