Wendell E. Davidson

Wendell E. Davidson 76, of Comanche, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, April 10, 2019 at Meridian Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Patterson Avenue Baptist Church in Comanche, Oklahoma with Rev. Trent Young officiating, interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Wendell was born November 20, 1942 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Samuel & Patty (Fleetwood) Davidson, he attended Duncan Schools and graduated from Duncan High School, he was a veteran of the United States Navy and worked for the Oklahoma State Highway Department in Duncan until his retirement, he was a member of Patterson Avenue Baptist Church in Comanche.

He is survived by a son; Wesley & Cynthia Davidson of Comanche, Oklahoma, and a daughter; Michelle & Rodney Vicks of Marlow, Oklahoma, a brother; Billy Davidson of Comanche, Oklahoma and a sister Janet Peck of Duncan, Oklahoma.

Wendell was preceded in death by his wife, parents and a son; Justin.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 15, 2019 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Randy Peck, Jeff Peck, Richard Davidson, Keith Slattery, Matthew Hasley, Zachary Hasley.
