Wanda L. Drake

Wanda L. Drake 90, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Marlow Nursing Center.

Graveside funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 17, 2017 at the Duncan Cemetery, with Rev. Dean & Freda Hall officiating, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Wanda was born on Tuesday February 1, 1927 in Empire, Oklahoma to William & Annie (Morrow) Sanders, she graduated from Empire high School and was a life long resident of the Duncan area. Wanda was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother & great-great grandmother, she married Jack Drake in 1946 in Duncan, Oklahoma and Jack preceded her in death in 1993. Wanda was a member of the First Christian Church in Duncan since 1934.

Survivors include her son; William Neal Drake & his wife Lisa of Marlow, Oklahoma, she was preceded in death by her son; Steven in 2008, also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Stephens County Humane Society.
