Ursulo "Chilo" Duran Sr.

Ursulo "Chilo" Duran Sr. 82, of Presido, Texas, passed away on March 4, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Rigoberto Varela officiating, interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

Mr. Duran was born to Julio & Gertudes Duran on September 27, 1935. He was married to Maria "Sukie" Duran for 60 years. He served in the United States Army from May of 1954 until May of 1956 and was discharged at Ft. Hamilton, New York.

Mr. Duran is survived by his wife Sukie of the home, children; Chilo Jr., Donna, Feto, David and Rafael. His siblings Margarita, Jenny & Antonio, three daughters-in-laws, 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Duran was preceded in death by his parents; Julio & Gertudes, son; Sammy, sister; Dolores and brothers; Julio, Benny, Perfecto & Jose.

Pallbearers will be Chilo Jr., Fito, David, Rafael, BiBi and David Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be his daughter Donna Telles, grandchildren Andy, Tony Boy, Hugo and Fabien.

Military Honors will be provided by the Stephens County Honor Guard.
