Shelby Jean Blanchard

Shelby Jean Blanchard 70, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, Apruil 12, 2021 at her home in Duncan.

Funeral services will be Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dean Hall officiating, interment will be Monday, April 19, 2021 at Grace Memorial Cemetery in Plaquemine Louisiana, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Shelby was born on Tuesday, February 20, 1951 to Albert William & Mary E. (Hafford) Witt Sr. in Plaquemine, Louisiana, she worked for the State of Louisiana in the Insurance Claims Collection.

Shelby is survived by her son; Bryan Blanchard of Port Allen, Louisiana and was preceded in death by a son; Vernon Varnell, she is also survived by sisters; Sylvia Harper of Ryan, Oklahoma, Landa Burns of Duncan, Oklahoma and Debra Roberts, Arcadia, Oklahoma and 4 grandchildren.
