Shannon Lane

Shannon Lane 49, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at Promise Hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas with his family at his side.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Ray of Hope Church with Rev. Ronnie Bernard and Rev. Mike McCord officiating, interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

The family will receive friends from 5:30- 6:30 p.m. at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

Shannon was born March 18, 1969 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Bill & Utahna (Godfrey) Lane, he was a member of the Ray of Hope Church and worked for the county at the Stephens County Fairground.

Shannon is survived by his wife; Tina of Duncan, Oklahoma, sons; Dylan Lane of home and Conner Lane of the home, a daughter; Amber Lane of the home, brothers; Donnie Lane of Colorado, Kent Lane of Colorado and Calvin Lane of Hobart, Oklahoma and a sister; Theresa Rios of Temple, Texas and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father; Bill Lane in 2006 and his mother; Utahna Woolery in 2000.

Pallbearers will be Kent Lane, Calvin Lane, Caleb Willeford, Nathan Lane, Shawn Bruce and Sheldon Glass.
