IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ronald Joseph
Cloud
November 13, 1955 – February 10, 2026
Memorial Service
Carter-Smart Funeral Home
Starts at 2:00 pm (Central time)
Joe Cloud, a beloved jack of all trades who drove his way into the hearts of many as a City Taxi driver in Duncan, took his final ride on February 10, 2026. Born on November 13, 1955, in Redondo Beach, CA, Joe was lovingly known to his parents as “Jody.” With an infectious laugh and a sunny disposition, he didn’t just meet people—he managed to turn strangers into friends at every corner he encountered.
Graduating from high school with pride, Joe later took his advocacy skills to new heights by becoming the “President of the Residents” during his time in the Sheridan Lodge care facility in Burkburnett, TX, where he championed for his fellow residents. If life were a heartwarming comedy, he would be the star—funny, patient, and as supportive as a true leading man.
Joe's greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren. He loved nothing more than watching their imaginations soar, whether they were playing around the house or enjoying family gatherings. He built a legacy not just as a dedicated family man but as a connoisseur of life who enjoyed every drop of sunshine it had to offer. Besides the beach, he held a special fondness for gathering around with family to share stories, laughter, and a well-made meal.
He leaves behind his loving wife Lori Cloud, along with a bustling crew of kids: Justin, Joshua, Jordan, Phillip, and Matthew. His daughter Sarah, Amanda and son-in-law, Joseph Morgan, added their unique chapters to this family story, continuing the legacy of laughter and love Joe cherished so much. The grandkids—Nevaeh, Riley, Jovin, Aidan, Cadence, Cash, Marley, Fae, Cacee, Kamray, Daxton, Layne, Olive, and River—will carry forward his spirit, keeping his memory alive in family gatherings filled with joy and laughter.
While Joe’s adventurous spirit may have left this world, we’re sure he’s already found a beach with no strangers—just a bunch of friendly faces waiting to hear his jokes. He is greeted in Heaven by his father, William Cloud Sr., mother Darlene Smith Cloud, and brothers, Jimmy Ray, Billy, and Bobby Cloud, alongside his cherished grandchild Jovin Ray Cloud.
Join us for Joe’s Memorial Service at Carter-Smart Funeral Home in Duncan, OK, on March 7, 2026, starting at 2 PM, and sure to be filled with many memories. Let’s gather to share stories, smile, laugh, and remember a man who loved life and lived it to the fullest.
