Robert Skiles, 86, of Duncan passed away Monday, February 2, 2026, in Duncan.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the Westside Christian Church with Ron Motley officiating. Interment will follow at the Duncan Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 9, 2026, at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home from 5:30-6:30 pm.

Robert was born November 11, 1939, in Duncan to Danial and Fern (Willis) Skiles. He was raised in Duncan and attended school and graduated from Duncan High School. He was a veteran and served in the United States Air Force. Robert worked for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation until his retirement. Robert married Mary Ina Good, and to this union were born four sons: Robert II, Raymond, and Jerry.

He is survived by his son, Robert Skiles II and his wife Bonnie; 4 grandchildren, Robert Skiles III, Bonnie Sue Hoard and husband, Nathan, Little Guy Skiles, and Shiloh Skiles; great-grandchildren Gracie Lyn Skiles, Landon Skiles, Serenity, Melody, Jessie, and Robert Trey Skiles IV; and a sister, Patricia Kirby.

Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Mary; sons, Raymond Guy Skiles and Jerry Daniel Skiles; brother, Dan Skiles; and sister, Betty Hines.

Pallbearers will be Ethan Leonhart, Shane McDonnell, Tim Spivey, Nathan Hoard, Robert Skiles III, and Jacob Skiles.
