Obituary
Robert Dawe Deaton 82, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022 at his home on Meridian.
Graveside funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2022 at the Duncan Cemetery with Rev. Bubba Clark officiating, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.
Robert was born February 12, 1940 to Homer & Fern (Denney) Deaton in Shelbyville, Illinois, he worked as an airplane mechanic until his retirement.
Robert is survived by his two daughters; Jennifer Lee Deaton of Boiser City, Louisiana and Alexandria Danielle Deaton of Boiser City, Louisiana, brothers; Brian D. Deaton of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Arthur E. Deaton of Layfette, Louisiana and a sister; Lynne D. Payne of Addington, Oklahoma, 3 grandchildren, Blaine Deaton, Vivian Carter and Scarlett Carter and a great-grandchild; Jordan Uriah.
