Rhonda Ann Scott, 75, of Duncan, went to her Heavenly home on September 16, 2026.

Rhonda was born to Jackie and Patsy Scott on February 23, 1951, in Duncan, Oklahoma. From the beginning, Rhonda was full of sass and love. She grew up in Comanche, the oldest of three siblings.

She graduated high school and soon began work at Duncan Equipment as their accounts payable clerk. She spent many years there and was a dedicated employee.

Rhonda loved her family and she loved her Lord. Though she had no children of her own, she doted on her niece and nephew, Cara and Phillip, as if they were hers. She taught them hard work, life skills, and how to have fun in life.

She was a strong woman who fought many battles and always came out on the other side. Though she had battle scars, they just made her stronger.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, Jackie and Patsy. She is survived by her brother; Gary Scott, sister; Carolyn Thompson, nephew; Phillip Thompson, niece; Cara Gray, as well as her great-niece, great-great niece, and many family members that will miss her dearly.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Rhonda’s care has been entrusted to Carter-Smart Funeral Directors. A visitation will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026, from 6-8 pm at Carter-Smart Funeral Home. Services will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 10:00 am at Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel with Celebrant Jamie Smart officiating. Interment will follow immediately after at Duncan Municipal Cemetery.
