Rhonda was born August 10, 1957 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Harvey & Marjorie (Fisher) Williams. Rhonda married Manuel Ruiz February 14, 1990 in Austin, Texas and to this union two children were born Andy and Abby.
Her first job was at the First Christian Church day care at the age of 15-1/2. She graduated from Duncan High School in 1975, and later went to work at Goodner's meat market. While her two kids attended Mark Twain Grade School, Rhonda volunteered for various activities in the PTO. She was proud to have run a weekly Friday "candy sales" to help raise funds for events and eventually new playground equipment. The students were always excited for "the candy ladies" cart to come around. She would often pay out of her own pocket so the students who didn't have money could get something. She not only loved kids, but had a big heart for animals, including the stray cats in the neighborhood. She is survived by her own special cat, Andromeda.
Rhonda loved sports and was an avid OU Sooner and Dallas Cowboy fan.
