Peggy M. Sanderson

Peggy M. Sanderson 92, of Duncan passed away Monday, February 20, 2023 at Elk Crossing Nursing Center.

Funeral services will be 10:00a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mark Hays & Robert Jones officiating, interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Milo Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Peggy was born June 17, 1930 in Milo, Oklahoma to I.W. & Olga (Caldwell) Redding one of nine children, she worked many years as a waitress and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter; Linda Wojeck of Duncan, Oklahoma and a son; Darrell Johns of Chickasha, Oklahoma and was preceded in death by two sons; Larry Jones and Dennis Jones, she is also survived by her twin sister; Pat Goodman of Duncan, Oklahoma, a brother; Duane Redding and his wife Virginia. She was preceded in death her sisters; Betty Lawrence, Lavern Cox, Ethel Haggard, Eloise Redding, Monty Garrertt, Reba Leertstang, Phyllis Mecey.

There will be a family visitation Monday evening at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home from 6:00-7:00 p.m.
