Pearlie Hines 84, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at her home in Duncan surrounded by her family.

Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Resthaven Memorial Gradens Cemetery, with Rev. Dean & Freda Hall officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Pearlie was born July 16, 1937 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Benjamine Franklin and Bonnie (Griggs) Tinney. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. Pearlie married Charles Hines Jr. on June 2, 1954 in Duncan, Oklahoma and to this union were born two sons; Richard & Ronald and two daughter Debbie and Karen. Charles preceded Pearlie in death on February 27, 2012.

Pearlie is survived by her children, sons; Richard Hines of Duncan, Oklahoma and Ronald & Malisia Hines of Duncan, Oklahoma, daughters; Debbie & Mike Langley of Lone Grove, Oklahoma and Karen & Steve Schwegman of Spring, Texas, a brother; James Tinney of Duncan, Oklahoma and a sister; Alice & Jerry Gallop of Loco, Oklahoma and a sister-in-law; Jessie Tinney of Duncan, Oklahoma, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Pearlie was preceded in death by her husband Charles, parents; Benjamin & Bonnie Tinney and a brother; Russell Tinney and sister; Pat Polk.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
