Pauline Battles Dove

Pauline (Battles) Dove, 91 of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, September 2, 2019 at the Meridian Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bryan Pain officiating, interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

The family will receive friends for visitation,Tuesday evening from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

Pauline was born June 25, 1928 at Wardville, Oklahoma to George Battles Sr. and Minnie (Christian) Battles, she was a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother, Pauline was the 2nd, youngest of 10 children, she was a longtime resident of Duncan and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Pauline is survived by her daughter; Pamela Gallaher & her husband Jody of Duncan, Oklahoma, a grandson; Tolly Gallaher & his fiancé Tracy Doucet of Duncan, Oklahoma and a granddaughter; Chera Orsak & her husband Brett of Frisco, Texas and also by her furbaby Sissy.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; George & Minnie Battles Sr., 7 brothers and 2 sisters.
