Paula Kaye Beene

Paula Kaye Beene, 73, of Comanche, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Grady County Memorial Hospital in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Private family graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at the Duncan Cemetery with Mario Pineda officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Paula was born October 27, 1949 in Ada, Oklahoma to John F. & Viola Marie (Ox) Childers. Paula worked 20 years for Halliburton's in the Special Services Division and worked 7 years for Family Dollar in the Training Dept. and 14 years for Chisholm Trail Casino. Paula Childres married James Beene in September of 1975 in Meridian Baptist Church, and to this union were born two son's Brandon and Blaine.

Paula is survived by her husband; James of the home, son's; Brandon Beene and his wife Sarah of Duncan, Oklahoma, and Blaine Beene and his wife Lebeth of Rush Springs, Oklahoma, a brother; Doug Childers of Konawa, Oklahoma and sisters; Ginger Carlton of Konawa, Oklahoma and Candi Childers of Konawa, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Siera, Brock, Kaitlyn, Payton and Hadley.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents; John F. & Viola Marie Childers and a sister; Stephanie Childers and mother-in-law; Bernice Beene.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
