Norma Lavon Proctor

Norma Lavon Proctor, 88, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Wilkins Nursing Center.

Graveside Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the Duncan Cemetery with Rev. Ray Ledbetter officiating, arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Norma was born December 27, 1934  at Pumpkin Center, Oklahoma to Leonard Leon & Sara L. (Bowden) Hawkins, she was a homemaker, she was raised in Walters, Oklahoma and moved to Duncan in 1960, she was a member of Bethel Church and a former member of Gospel Beams Church. Norma had worked for TG&Y and Gibson's in Duncan, she was married Granville Proctor and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by her brother; Herschel Hawkins & his wife Judy of Comanche, Oklahoma, a step-daughter; Deb Ford of Wabash, Indiana, nephews; Jason Hawkins & his wife Autumn of Duncan, Dean Hawkins & his wife Brandi of Moore, Oklahoma, Brian Hawkins & his wife Aisa of Moore, Oklahoma and Jeff Hawkins of Duncan, great-nephews; Gavin Hawkins of Duncan, Gibson Hawkins of Duncan, Scott Hawkins of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Trevor Hawkins of Moore, Oklahoma, Caleb Hawkins of Duncan, Oklahoma and 8 great-great nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be family.
