Norma M. Carrasco-Cruz

Norma Carrasco-Cruz, 51 of Hobbs, New Mexico, passed away May 18, 2023 in Lubbock, Texas.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon Manuel Garcia officiating, interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Rosery Services will be Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. and Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel.

Norma was born December 1, 1971 in Coyame, Mexico to Enrique & Luz Estela Carrasco she worked in food preparation at the Cullinary Art School, she was married to Joel Cruz in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Norma is survived by her husband: Joel of the home, a daughter; Elizabeth Cruz,  sons; Samuel Cruz, Edgar Cruz and Luis Cruz , her mother; Luz Estela Carrasco, a brother; Manuel Carrasco and sisters; Corina Carrasco Leanos, Maria Molina and Elva Leticia Carrasco and 5 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father; Enrique Carrasco, father-in-law; Joel Cruz Sr. and mother-in-law Angelina Cruz.

Pallbearers will be Edgar Cruz, Samuel Cruz, Luis Cruz, Carlos Leanos, Miguel Leanos and Manuel Carrasco
