Nita Lou Campbell

Nita Lou Campbell, 92, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, June 19, 2023 at Duncan Regional Hospital.

A celebration of life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Bethel Church in Duncan, Oklahoma with Rev. Ron Meador officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Nita was born August 28, 1930 in Bray, Oklahoma to Amos Mitchel & Emma Etta (McCoy) Farmer, Nita had lived in Duncan for 50 years moving here from Hurst, Texas. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Nita was a member of the Bethel Church, and she married Vernie Ray Campbell on February 2, 1973 in Duncan, Oklahoma, Ray preceded her in death March 5, 2015.

She is survived by her son; Richard Wiseman and his wife Karen of Ft. Worth, Texas, son;  Ralph E. Wiseman who preceded her in death on April 12, 2012, also surviving, a daughter-in-law; Louann of Duncan, Oklahoma, her brother; Gene Farmer and his wife Kay of Village, Florida. Grandchildren; Dr. Richard Cully Wiseman and his wife Maureen, Christopher Todd Wiseman and his wife Carsi, Kerry Barrick and husband Mike, and Kenny Wiseman and fiance' Sara Rouse and 4 great-grandchildren.

Nita was preceded in death by her parents; Amos Mitchell and Emma Etta Farmer, brothers; Lewis Farmer and Willard Farmer and a twin sister; Neva Sue Patterson who died November 2, 2020.
