Myrtle A. Shults

Myrtle A. Shults, 92 of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Country Club Care Nursing Center.

Graveside funeral services will be Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at the Duncan Cemetery with Rev. Bennie Grissom officiating, arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Family visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

Myrtle was born September 23, 1924 in Wilson, Oklahoma to King & Dora Wilson, she married James Raymond Shults April of 1942 and he preceded her in dearth May 31, 1979, Myrtle was a homemaker and a member of Heritage Oaks Nazarene Church and a charter member of Oak Avenue Nazarene Church and was the pie maker for the bean dinners at Oak Avenue Nazarene Church.

Myrtle is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, grand and great grand nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, her parents; King & Dora Wilson, brothers; Charley Wilson, Aubrey Wilson, Alfred Wilson, George Wilson and Oscar V. Wilson, sisters; Lorena Rogers, Theo Dearen, Iva Christianson and Nellie McLaughlin.

Pallbearers will be nephews and grandnephews.
