Mayzell  Morris 87, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024 surrounded by her family at her side.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the Freedom Biker Church with Rev. Billy Morgan officiating, interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

Mayzell was born June 4, 1936 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Jim & Mable "Muse" Cowan she attended schools in Duncan and was a graduate of Duncan High School, she was a member of Oakridge Fire Department and the Evening Star Rebecca's, Mayzell married Delbert Morris on June 29, 1953 in Duncan, Oklahoma and to this union was born 4 children, Leland & Rodney, and Debbie and Shelly, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Mayzell is survived by her husband; Delbert of the home, daughters; Debbie Jump & her husband Eddie of Duncan, Oklahoma, Shelly Wren & husband David of Duncan, Oklahoma, Leland Morris & his wife Rhonda of Duncan, Oklahoma, a brother; Carl Cowan of Comanche, Oklahoma and 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son; Rodney Morris, her parents; Jim & Mable Cowan and sisters; Helen Jo Wilson and Jimmie Turley.

Pallbearers will be Grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Jump and David Wren.
