Mary Elizabeth Edwards 95, 0f Drummonds, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Baptist Tipton Hospital in Covington, Tennessee at the age of 95 years, 5 months and 3 Days.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Southerland officiating, interment will follow at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Services have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Family visitation will be Monday, May 13, 2024 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Mary was born December 4, 1928 to E. M. & Lila (Parson) Moore in Roswell, New Mexico, she married Alfred Lee Edwards December 21, 1947 and to this marriage were born two children, Richard and Diane, she was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother.

Survivors include a son; Richard Edwards & daughter-in-law Lavonda, of Drummonds, Tennessee, and a daughter; Diane Edwards Palmer of Atascocita, Texas and 5 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Edwards
