Mary Ruth Crawley

Mary Ruth Crawley 59, of Duncan, Oklahoma, Mary passed peacefully from this life in her home after a brief illness surrounded by people that loved her.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Morgan officiating, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Mary was born March 30, 1960 at Andrews Air Force Base in Baltimore, Maryland to Nelson Eugene and Annie Loress (Brickley) Crawley, she was married to Sherry Solomon Crawley December 31, 2014 at the Comanche County Courthouse in Lawton, Oklahoma, she was a loving mother and grandmother, she was a kind person and would sit and listen to you anytime you needed to talk. Because of her adversities she faced in her own life she was able to leave judgments to herself.

She was a straight forward and honest which some people might have taken the wrong way, but she never waivered none the less. She loved her wife Sherry with all her heart, and also had a great love for her kids, Talesha, Summer, Katresa, Chalynn and Junior. She loved her dog Poppy, she enjoyed her grandbabies and also fishing with them, and also was a big Cher fan.

Mary is survived by her wife; Sherry of the home, her son; Junior Hartman and his wife Nicole, daughters; Taleasha Solomon, Summer Solomon, Chalynn Solomon and Katreasa Anderson and husband Shelby, a her brother; Bill Crawley, grandchildren; Suquoyia  Solomon, Rayne Anderson, Thalia Hasley, Sebastian Hasley, Dasiah Clenney, Kannon Anderson and Eris  Anderson.

She will be missed by all those who knew her well. God's Speed Mary, God's Speed.
