Marjorie (Margie) Faye Williams, 91, of Duncan, died Friday, December 5, 2025 in Duncan.
The family will receive visitors from 6:00-7:00 pm Monday, December 8 at Carter-Smart Funeral Home in Duncan.
Private family graveside will be held at a later date with Rev. Dean Hall officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.
Margie was born August 26, 1934 in Elmore City, Oklahoma to Monroe and Edna Fisher. She married Harvey Williams on April 25, 1954, in Henrietta, Texas.
Margie worked at The Duncan Banner from 1976 until she retired in the early 2000s. She thoroughly nurtured her children and grandchildren. Margie will be deeply missed.
Survivors include two sons: Bobby Williams and his wife, Rhonda and Tim Williams and his wife, Ramona, both of Duncan; two daughters: Sherrie McCormack and her husband, Mike and Luann Caudill and her husband, Keith, both of Duncan; two sisters Gena Turkett of Meridian and Elaine Allen of Duncan and two brothers Keith Fisher of Iowa Park, Texas and Kenny Fisher of Marlow; five grandchildren: Sommer Condren, Amber Caudill-Morgan, Andy Ruiz, Allyson Caudill, and Abby Howell; two step-grandchildren: Amy Clay and Rocky Dyer; five great grandchildren: Lyric Condren, Lyra Condren, Liora Condren, Lyla Howell and Ollie Howell; and four step great grandchildren: Dylan Elliott, Bradyn Elliott, Ethan Dyer and Logan Dyer. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters: Wynona Fisher and Eva Ruth Cowan; a daughter, Rhonda Ruiz.
Bearers will be Bobby Williams, Tim Williams, Mike McCormack, Keith Caudill, Andy Ruiz, David Condren, David Morgan, and James Howell. Honorary bearer is Manuel Ruiz.
