Lutie M. McClennen

Lutie M. McClennen 88 of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 at Elk Crossing Nursing Center.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home with Rev. David Gardner officiating, interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Lutie was born June 8, 1929 in Comanche, Oklahoma to Arthur Elvert & Annie Mae "Hobbs" Benson, she was a homemaker and a member of St. Pauls Methodist Church, Lutie Benson married Glen McClennen on June 8, 1948 in Henrietta, Texas, Glen preceded her in death on October 26, 2004.

Survivors include a brother; Thomas Benson & his wife Evelyn of Duncan, niece; Gayla & Paul Harris of Duncan, Oklahoma, nephew; James & Sandy Stepp of Hinton, Oklahoma, a sister-in-law; Dean McClennen, a special friend Frances Coffey of Duncan, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Glenn, her parents; Arthue E. & Annie M. Bensona, her sister; Lora Stepp and 2 nephews.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
