Lola Jane Massey, lovingly known as Jane, passed away on September 23, 2026, at Comanche County Memorial Hospital, surrounded by the love of a family who will forever cherish her memory.

Jane was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother and great-grandmother, beloved sister, aunt, and friend. She lived her life with a giving heart and a deep love for her family. Jane was the kind of person who would give her last dollar to someone who needed it. Her generosity, kindness, and love for others were simply a part of who she was.

Jane shared 56 beautiful years of marriage with the love of her life, Kenneth Massey. Their love was something truly special. Jane loved Ken unconditionally, and even after all their years together, her eyes would light up whenever he walked into the room. Together, they built a lifetime of memories, including their many trips and adventures. Jane also loved fast cars, which added a little extra excitement along the way.

Jane was the proud mother of two daughters, Azurde Jump and her husband, Robert Jump, and Kendra Wyatt. She treasured her grandchildren, Colton Jump, Hunter Jump, Blake Wyatt, and Bryson Wyatt, and her great-grandchildren, Tuff Jump, Lynlie Jump, and Gunner Jump.

Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren held an incredibly special place in her heart. She loved hearing about how they were doing in wrestling, football, school, and all of life’s adventures. Whenever they walked into the room, Jane’s face would light up with a smile. Their accomplishments brought her tremendous pride, but simply being their grandma and great-grandma brought her even greater joy.

In her younger years, Jane enjoyed spending time working in her flower beds and creating beautiful cross-stitch pieces. She was also a devoted New Orleans Saints football fan and loved cheering on her team.

Jane is also survived by her brother, James “Jim” Allen and his wife, Cynthia; her brothers-in-law, Albert Jenks, John Black, and Ralph Massey; along with countless nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved and adored.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Allen and Lola Allen; her parents-in-law, Asa Massey and Louella Massey; her sisters, Lynda Jenks and Sharon Black; and her sister-in-law, Cindy Massey.

More than anything, Jane will be remembered for the love she gave so freely. She loved her family deeply, gave generously, smiled proudly, and treasured the life she shared with Ken. The love she poured into her family will continue through the generations and through every story, memory, smile, and moment shared in her honor.

After 56 years of marriage, the love between Jane and Ken remains a beautiful reminder that true love endures through every season of life.

Jane’s life was filled with love, and that love will never end.

Her care has been entrusted to Carter-Smart Funeral Directors. Services will be held at Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 10:00 am with Pastors Brandon Blasingame and Billy Morgan officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Duncan Municipal Cemetery.
