Lena Faye (Weir) Sanders

Lena Faye Sanders 91, of San Antonio, Texas formally a longtime resident of Duncan, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 in San Antonio.

Graveside funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Keith Sanford officiating, arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Family visitation will be Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Lena was born July 11, 1929 in Walters, Oklahoma to Edward & Nona (Robbins) Weir, she and her husband managed the Heritage Motel for many years in Duncan.

Lena is survived by her children; Linda Long and her husband (Walter), Gayle Dillon and her husband (Dean), Anita Morris and Tawnya Sanford and her husband (Keith) in which she had a special relationship, also she left behind 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters; Doris Revell and Patricia Brown.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Jo Sanders, a son; Jackie E. Sanders, and a grandson; Tony E. Sanders, brother; Charles E. Weir and parents; Charles and Nona Weir.

Pallbearers will be family & friends.
