Leah Rae Holden

Leah Rae Holden, lifetime resident of Duncan, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Wilkins Nursing Center at the age of 81.

Leah Rae was born September 5, 1936 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Dortha Bess and Raymon Lee Williams. She is a 1954 graduate of Duncan High School. Leah Rae met the love of her life, Willard Holden, at Jed Johnson Lake in the Wichita Mountain National Refuge. They were married August 8, 1959, Leah Rae and Willard enjoyed 58 wonderful years together. Leah Rae was an avid reader and enjoyed working cross word and jigsaw puzzles.

She is survived by her husband ; Willard of the home, a daughter; Loraena Carol Hickman of Houston, Texas, a son; Stuart Wyeth Holden of Duncan, Oklahoma,  grandson's; Joshua Hickman of Houston, Texas, Zachary and his wife Leslie Hickman of Austin, Texas, and a sister; Bardara Sue and her husband James Doerksen of Marlow, Oklahoma.

Leah was preceded in death by her parent's Dortha Bess and Ramon Lee Williams.

The family will receive visitors at the family home Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at 609 Nth. 14th. Duncan, Oklahoma.
