Junior Leroy Youngblood, 85 of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2026, in Duncan. 

Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Duncan Cemetery with Justin Harkins officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors

.Junior was born July 20, 1941, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, to Leroy Junior & Luella "Sellers" Youngblood. Junior enlisted in the United States Army on April 25,1961 and served three years and was honorably discharged on April 24, 1964. Junior was a welder for Halliburton Services for over 30 years, until his retirement. Junior married Peggy Husband on May 31, 1960, and to this union were born two children: Kelly and Julie. Peggy and a grandson Kory Wisdom, preceded Junior in death.

Junior is survived by his son Kelly Youngblood & his wife Cathy of Cypress, Texas, a daughter Julie Wisdom of Comanche, Oklahoma and a brother Bill Youngblood & his wife Roxy of Mesa, Arizona and two sisters: Pat Mangum of Ft. Worth, Texas and Freda Hall & her husband Dean of Duncan, Oklahoma, also grandchildren; Jordan Rychel and Jakob Youngblood, and great-grandchildren; Alyssa Wisdom, Kennedy Rychel, Ashton Rychel and Colton Youngblood.

Military Honors will be provided by the Stephens County Honor Guard and the Stephens County Patriot Guard Riders.
