Juanita Bollig

Juanita Bollig, age 75, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2018 in Garland, Texas.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dean & Freda Hall officiating, interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Family visitation will be Friday evening February 23, 2018 from 6:00-7:00 p.m.at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

Juanita was born August 28, 1942 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Herman and Faye Young. She married Cecil J. Bollig on November 5, 1959 and started their journey of over 52 years together. The lived in Duncan, Oklahoma the majority of their time together.

Survivors include six children; Frank Bollig of Seagoville, Texas, Paula Regan and her husband Tommy of Garland, Texas, Gary Bollig and his wife Denise of Duncan, Oklahoma, Lori Mitchell and her husband Tim of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Andy Bollig and his wife Emily of Duncan, Oklahoma. She leaves behind her son-in-law; Steve Basden of Frisco, Texas, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was a devoted wife, wonderful mother and attentive grandmother. She loved nothing more than to spend time with her family. She will be missed.

Juanita was preceded in death by her husband; Cecil J. Bollig, her daughter; Theresa Basden and her brother; Robert E. Young and her sister Pamela K. Hesbrook

The family would like to thank the staff of Pleasant Valley Rehabilitation Center in Garland, Texas for the love and care given to our mom during her stay.
