Joy Foster of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Monday May 5, 2024 at her home at the age of 96 years, 6 months and 27days.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2024 at Victory Baptist Church with Clint Russell officiating, interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery, arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Family visitation will be Thursday, May 9, 2024 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home from 5:00 -6:00 p.m.

Joy was born October 10, 1927 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Willis C. & Eunice (Lee) Hayes, she was a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a great-great grandmother, she was a member of the Victory Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughters; Norma Hamilton of Duncan, Oklahoma, Susan Shaffer of Casper, Wyoming and Barbara Hamilton of Australia, 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Joy was preceded in death by her 3 husbands, a son; Freddie Wayne Hamilton, daughters; Pricilla Hamilton, Carol Allen and by her parents and a brother and 9 sister.
