Josephine "Josie" Morrow Harvey, 88, of Duncan, passed away peacefully on May15, 2026.

Josie was born on April 3, 1938, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Dave and Lora Morrow.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Vancel Harvey; her sisters, Juanita, Lorene, and Evelyn; her brothers, L.D., J.B., Lloyd, and David; and her sons, Tim Harvey and Clendon Harvey.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Linda Morrow, of Duncan; her sone and daughter-in-law, Del and BJ Harvey of Duncan; her daughter, Pamela Bernard of Duncan; and her daughter-in-law, Gaylynn Harvey of Duncan; along with a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Josie was a faithful woman of God whose life and prayers changed generations. Through her obedience, unwavering faith, and years spent on her knees in prayer and intercession for others, countless lives were forever impacted. It was her loving but powerful call for her brother to come to God that helped spark a journey that would plant a church 11 years later, where thousands would come to know God. Though she lived humbly, her legacy lives on through every life touched, healed, restored, and brought to Christ because she faithfully said "Yes!" to God.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the Duncan Cemetery with Rev. David Morrow officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Pallbearers will be Robbie Harvey, Kenny Bernard, Jonny Bernard, Derrick Bernard, Mark Morrow, John Morrow, and Raymond Morrow.
