Jayston Trevor Gallaher

July 25, 1993 – January 3, 2026

On January 3, 2026, the world lost one of its most precious gifts, Jayston "Bubba" Gallaher.

Jayston was born in Duncan, OK on July 25, 1993, to Cory Moore and Misty Gallaher. From his first breath, he brought joy and laughter into many hearts. From a very young age, he developed a love of professional wrestling. Jayston could often be found practicing his wrestling moves and showing off his skills to everyone who had the chance to watch.

He also couldn't get enough of SpongeBob Squarepants. Like the character, Jayston had a smile and a laugh that could turn the darkest days into rays of sunshine. And anytime there were visitors to the house, according to Jayston, they were "having a party" which he was happy to provide the entertainment for.

Jayston also had an ornery streak a country mile wide. Instead of a hug, you might get a lick to the cheek, followed by his signature grin. One of his favorite things to do was take the golf cart, with or without permission, and go on an adventure. He also proved himself to be a bit of an escape artist. But all of these things made the amazing personality that was uniquely Jayston.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, George and Genevive Gallaher and Ola Fay Love.

Jayston is survived by his grandparents; Jerry Sr. and Wanda Gallaher and Michael and Debbie Moore; mother Misty Gallaher; father Cory Moore and wife Susannah; sisters Katelyn Fox and wife Joslynn, Kelsey Dillin, and Rachel Moore; brother Aaron Moore; nephews Peyton, Parker, and Kyson; Aunt Talisa Hambrick; Uncle Jerry Gallaher, Jr.; as well as many more beloved family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jodi Gallaher, Jerry Gallaher, Jr., Mike Lambert, Dennis Lambert, Charles Gallaher, and Katelyn Fox. Honorary pallbearer is Al Chisholm.

Jayston's care has been entrusted to Carter-Smart Funeral Directors. The family will receive visitors at Carter-Smart Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 from 5-6. Services will be held at Fair Baptist Church in Empire on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 1:00 pm, with Pastor Charles McConnell presiding. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche.
