Jaden Richard Langston, 17, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022 at his home in Duncan. Jaden was born June 7, 2004 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Jamie Langston.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Faith Church with Rev. David Morrow officiating, interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. At the Carter-Smart Funeral Home

Jaden was a very talented bowler from the time he was very young. He did a brief stint in football & basketball in Middle School. He absolutely love riding the four wheeler and going to the lake with his brother and his family. Jaden was a straight A student and adored by most of his teachers. Recently Jaden really enjoyed working at Eriks Quick Lube. It was a light in his life that gave him purpose in ways that we could not.

It was a challenge to get him to get up for school everyday, but he looked forward to going to work every morning. He finally found a place where he felt like he belonged. Jaden had a big heart and was loyal to those that he cared about.

Come graduation day he absolutely did not want to attend, because he hated being the center of attention. He told me the only reason he was going was for me, his mother.

Jaden is survived by his mother, Jamie Langston of the home, his honorary father- Michael & Roni Rightmire, brother, Chace Fitzgerald and sister, Sharon Willhite, cousins, Caleb and Jessica Hawkins, Zachary Rightmire, Ryker, Adalynn, Blakely Hawkins and Grayson Rightmire, his grandmother, Beverly Langston.

Pallbearers will be Chace Fitzgerald, John Peck, Adrain Goodman, Zach Rightmire, Ayden Thompson, Matthew Martinez, J.P. Martinez.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Joel Langston, Jared Langston and Justin Langston.
