Ida Mae Kirk

Ida Mae Kirk 87, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Meridian, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2017 at Prairie Hill Church of Christ with Mario Pineda officiating, interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, and arrangements are under the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

Ida was born November 2, 1929 in Bolliver, Texas to William and Mildred (Brown) Ary, she worked for Halliburton and was a member of the Prairie Hill Church of Christ, she married James Kirk May 29, 1947 in Duncan, Oklahoma and to this union were born five children; James, Barbara, Beverly, Rebecca and Virginia, her husband James preceded her in death April 8, 2010 in Duncan.

Survivors include a son; James T. Kirk of Duncan, Oklahoma, Barbara Hall and her husband Robert of Duncan, Oklahoma, and Beverly Pate of Duncan, Oklahoma, 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; William & Mildred Ary, her husband; James T. Kirk Sr.,  daughters; Rebecca & Virigina, a brother; James William Ary, a sister; Bessie Pitcock, sister-in-law; Ruth Ary, brother-in-law; Roger Pitcock, son-in-law; Roger Pannell, and 1 grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Justin Kirk, Marvin Wilkinson, Jeremy Lassley, Hunter Lassley, Jim Fowler and Landon Brumley.
