Homer Charles "Charlie" Wyatt of Woodward, Oklahoma, formally of Duncan, Oklahoma passed away Sunday in Woodward, Oklahoma at the Woodward Skilled Nursing Home at the age of 87 years, 10 months and 30 days.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2024 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home, with Rev. Dean & Freda Hall officiating, interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery, arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Charlie was born July 17, 1936 in Ryan, Oklahoma to Homer & Rachel (Burden) Wyatt, Charlie was a longtime sales representative with Levi Straus Company. Charlie married Bermadene (Bertie) Waller and to this marriage was born three children, Charlie Jr., Cindy, and Scott, Bertie preceded Charlie in death on June 14, 2002. Charlie was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge in Texas.

Charlie is survived by his son; Scotty Wyatt of Duncan, Oklahoma, a daughter; Cindy Wyatt of Woodward, Oklahoma and a sister; Linda Reames and her husband Warren of Duncan, Oklahoma and 6 grandchildren; Jarrett Wyatt, Mindy Newson, Stephanie Fowler, Christy Pierce, Holly Shirkey, Daniel (Tom Tom) Wyatt, 16 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Steve Pierce, Cliff Shirkey, Randy Gilliam, Daniel Wyatt, Jarrett Wyatt and Braden Denney.

Charley was preceded in death by his parents; Homer & Rachel, his wife; Bertie, and his son; Charlie Jr.
