Harold Leonard Smith

Harold Leonard Smith 91, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at his home in Duncan.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Unity Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Dan Standifer officiating, interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Harold was born March 25, 1929 in Sedwick,Texas to William Floyd & Bethel "Bailey" Smith. Harold worked for Halliburton services as a welding inspector before his retirement, he was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving four years at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas. He married Eula Pearl Allen on July 14, 1979 and she preceded him in death.

Harold is survived by his sons; Jackie Smith & his wife Mary of Edmond, Oklahoma, David Smith & partner Faith Owens of Duncan, Oklahoma, daughters; Debby Covington & her husband Buddy of Marlow, Oklahoma, Tara Bumpas & her husband Greg of Duncan, Oklahoma, sisters; Geraldine Shrum of Lubbock, Texas and Geneva Burks of Houston, Texas. Grandchildren; Shane & Therese Pennington, Kara & Ryan Lamberson, Jeremiah Smith, Jessica & Rick Baker, Shandi Thompson, Cody & Christan Bumpas, Erin & Marcus Favorite, Matthew & Jessica Smith, 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Harold was preceded in death by his wife Eula P. Smith and a great-grandson Brady Lamberson.

Pallbearers will be Shane Pennington, Cody Bumpas, Matthew Smith, Marcus Favorite, Rick Baker and Ryan Lamberson.
