Gennive Gallaher 95, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Wilkins Nursing Center.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2025 at Fair Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Roy McConnell officiating, Gennive Gallaher

interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche, Oklahoma. Arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

She was born June 10, 1929 in Duncan, Oklahoma to John & Myrtle (Shaw) Williams, she was loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother, Gennive had been a resident all her life, she married George Gallaher on April 7, 1946 and to this union were born 5 children; Johnny, Jody, Jerry and Danny Ray, and a daughter; Georgia Ann. Gennive was a member of Fair Baptist and a former member of the Rebekah Lodge and enjoyed playing canasta with her friends.

She is survived by 3 sons' Johnny Gallaher of Comanche, Oklahoma, Jody Gallaher of Duncan, Oklahoma and Jerry Gallaher of Comanche, Oklahoma, 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gennnive was preceded in death by her husband; George, a daughter; Georgia Ann and a son; Danny Ray and her parents; John & Myrtle (Shaw) Williams.

Pallbearers will be Grandson's and a good friend Kenny Brooks.
