Florence K. Cowan 75, of Comanche, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 at St Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dean & Freda Hall officiating, interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Family visitation will be Tuesday evening September 15, 2020 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

Kay was born December 25, 1944 in Decatur, Texas to Cecil & Delois "Webb" McDaniel, she was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Kay married Carl Cowen February 8, 1964 in Henrietta, Texas and to this union were born 2 children, Tony and Carla. Kay & Carl ran the R.V. Park and the Bait Shop at the Comanche Lake for 17 years.

Kay is survived by her husband; Carl of the home, a daughter; Carla Warren & her husband Robert of Comanche, Oklahoma, a sister; Jeanetta Carpenter of Chico, Texas and 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents; Cecil & Delois McDaniel and her son; Tony.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
