Elbert Riley, 84, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Wilkins Nursing Home with his family by his side.

Graveside funeral services will be 10:00 a.m.Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at the Marlow Cemetery, with Rev. Dakota Morrow and Ladd Polk officiating, and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

The family will recieve friends on June 22, 2021 Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

Elbert was born on Friday, September 25, 1936 one of fourteen children, 9 brothers and 4 sisters, born to John & Victoria (Shirley) Riley in Doyle, Oklahoma, Elbert retired from the maintance department at the Simmon's Center. he had been a resident of Duncan for 63 years, Elbert married Carolyn (Etier) June 6, 1958 in Marlow, Oklahoma, Carolyn preceded him in death on April 17, 1975 .

He is survived by a son; Bart Riley and his wife Annette of Duncan, Oklahoma and a daughter; Beth Davis and her husband Steve of Duncan, Oklahoma. Elbert is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 son's, a daughter, and 2 grandson's.

Family will serve as pallbearers.
